Technology Grants Available to Rural Districts

The state’s TEACH Program is now accepting applications for two school technology grant programs that are available to school districts with fewer than 13 students per square mile:

  1. TEACH Teacher Training Grants for Education Technology provide $1.5 million in support for educators in eligible districts to attend, arrange, and provide training activities to build their information technology knowledge and capacity.   2. TEACH Information Technology Infrastructure Grants provide $7.5 million in funding for technology infrastructure to improve the capacity of school districts to utilize technology for instruction.  Applications must be received before midnight on Friday, November 11, 2016.  More information: Eligible Districts; Grant FAQ; Application Information.

The TEACH Program is administered by the state Department of Administration (DOA). TEACH stands for Technology for Educational ACHievement.
